Yoga Videos During Covid

Hello there – I posted a few yoga videos on my YouTube Channel.

I hope this helps yoga practitioners feel well and stay tethered to the peaceful place inside yourself regardless of what’s going on in the world.

With Peace, Love, Inner Light,

Restorative Yoga…

Restorative yoga is a restful practice done on the floor, often using various props to allow people to stay in poses for a long time in order to stretch small deep muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Compared to more dynamic yoga practices, restorative yoga requires more attention and receptiveness. It involves a different kind of muscular engagement. If you haven’t tried it, find a class your area soon! Several reasons to consider a restorative yoga class:

  • In our busy hectic lives, we’ve forgotten how to relax – and relaxation is one of the most important “states of being” a person can learn (or relearn!). Restorative yoga helps practitioners truly relax and regenerates body, mind, and spirit.
  • Restorative yoga is one impressive cure for physical, emotional, or mental fatigue.
  • Restorative yoga improves flexibility without risk of injury or pain.
  • Restorative yoga relieves pain in specific body areas, including lower back, shoulders, hips, and neck and helps creates space around your joints.
  • The beneficial effects of restorative yoga reaches your nerves and organs and internal systems. Your respiratory capacity and blood circulation will improve and your nervous system will relax.
  • Restorative yoga relaxes the mind and helps when you are feeling “heavy-hearted” or “anxious” – it also helps with insomnia.
  • We’ve also forgotten how to be patient, light-hearted and live in ease. Restorative yoga develops patience, gratitude, humility, and greater self-awareness. It serves as a platform for you to come in and relax and meditate.
  • Restorative yoga is accessible to anyone – regardless of age or level of mobility.

Restorative yoga has so many wonderful benefits – try a class soon!
